Trouble reinstalling my printer saying that there was an error during the installation of the device.?

The error said The specified print monitor not found. And all this started after I had a new motherboard installed and power supply and more ram added. I just want my printer to work again. :(

1. you may need to reinstall printer drivers
2. Have you tried to uninstall the printer from the control panel. Right click on the printer and click delete. Then reinstall the printer drivers. You may also want to download the latest drivers from the printer manufacturers website.
3. hi U shud install the printer drivers and then try.
4. After a motherboard swap, uninstall printer drivers with printer disconnected, then reboot, reinstall drivers from CD plugging in printer when required . . . Safest way to do it . . . damn "glitch" with USB printers, don't like changes to ports etc
