Printer Level on HP Laserjet 2550L OSX, PC?

Is there a way on a mac I can find the printer supply level of ink on my HP Laserjet 2550L. I look at the level on my printer is saying I'm out but I think I'm low how do I tell. I tell it on my PC but I having a hard time configuring it with the HP software on my ink levels. Is their any other solution.

1. Check under Applications>Utilities, and you should find something like "HP Laserjet Utility". At least that's close to the case with an HP printer I have with my Mac. If you don't. reinstall the printer software that came with your printer. Click on a button close to "check printer supplies", and a new utility should pop up. I hope that helps. Good luck!
