How to make a booklet from some supplies?

I gotta make a "book" for a government class. I've got printer paper, rubber cement, heavy duty tape, scissors and some other stuff. Got any ideas how to make a clean looking booklet? (i could go out and buy some stuff if i must)

1. i think if you can print your document in 2 column (front and back) you just use staple.
2. I use this site. http://library.thinkquest.org/j001156/makingbooks/sc_clothcovered.htm They have easy to follow instructions.
3. This was an idea I found while looking for ways to reuse holiday cards and I included it on my Squidoo lens for that because it was so perfect. Might give you some good guidance for your project. (Oh, I remember those days!)
