  1. Sharpies.
  2. there are sites where you can upload you designs and they will print them out and ship them for you. you can also put designs on mugs, underwear, sweatshirts and much much more!
  3. All kinds of markers of all colors and lots of paper big paper and you might want to like buy some t-shirts like from a thrift store and practice on them.
  4. i think you could try the old ironing and wax thing or whatever. im not 100% on how it works, but i know that method does, try googling it. i hope it works out for you!
  5. i made t shirts in my technolgy class with the designing and all of that other stuff. what kind of shirts are you designing? there is this type of ink that you need to use and you do on e color at a time using this thing that looks like a strainer. there is also a clamp that holds it together and a machine that heats up the image on to the thing that looks lke a strainer. i don't think i really helped at all since the thing that i just said probably made no sense to you.
  6. God. All of these answers are terrible. They all don't know what they're talking about. Conrgatulations. T-shirt design a very enjoyable hobby of mine. What I usually do is buy a plain black t-shirt from an art store. Then get a pack of printable iron-ons from Office Depot. As for the program, I like using Photoshop Elements. Its not the only choice. You could even use M.S. PAINT for crying out loud! Keep in mind, Photoshop is an expensive graphics editor. No matter how fancy the program, you still need your creativity and art skills to have it turn out nice.
  7. Software: Depends on the type of design you want to do. Corel Draw Suite is a good professional-level graphics package that is not too expensive. It is also relatively easy to learn, and there are tons of online tutorials. Equipment: The most basic level is printing transfers with an inkjet printer on special transfer paper. Don't use the crappy paper you get at office supply stores. Check out IronAll. It is a good professional quality paper. I believe it can be applied with an iron, though a heat press is preferable. And if you want comfortable, durable shirts, you need to print on white or light color shirts. The transfers for dark colors feel like a big piece of plastic on the shirt (because they are), and wear out very quickly. http://www.illegalt-shirts.com
