If i wanted to connect a usb printer to a wireless ethernet network, what supplies to i need to buy?

The usb cord does not fit the ethrnet cord in the back of my wireless router

  1. You need to install the printer to one of your PCs locally. So run a USB cable from your printer to one of the PCs on the network, then when you install the printer set it up as a network printer! simple as that
  2. do you want the printer in a remote location, or connected with the usb cable to the router? There should be a ethernet port in the back of the printer to connect the two.
  3. You have a chioce of setting the printer up on a computer that is on the network or buying a print server with USB port hookups. The downside to putting the printer on the PC is, the PC must be on all the time. A print server is a relatively small device that is the size of a hub or a modem and it controls print jobs on the network. The printer plug right into it and it costs about $40.00.
  4. go to wal-mart and buy a linkys print server,best thing i ever did and very easy to set up.if i can do it u can too.
