HP a1223w & HP a450n. Want to Switch power supply?

Well my HP a1223w heat or video card is not working correctly, it usually shuts down on me randomly. my HP a450n Power supply is dead.. i just tried switching them but HP a450n said "reboot or insert cd media press any key" Well something like that XD sorry i forgot. so i couldn't... can anyone help me? i just put the HP a1223w Power supply back so i can ask this on yahoo. help? Them PS1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8, colorful wires on my HP a1223w My PS4,5,6 isn't connect to anything. and MY PS2,3. Idk which to connect to the cd drive?

1. It sounds like the power supply was working OK, but your harddrive in the a450n no longer has an operating system installed or the harddrive has died.
