hp slimline power supply?

so basically my slimline went out a while ago, and i couldnt find a powersupply at best buy or anything like that. so i was wondering if all slimlines use the same power supply so i could just order it straight from hp. aside from that. is it even worth it!? cuz i had it for a lil over a year n i notice it overheats. is there anyway i could keep it from over heating or will my power supply just go out again?

1. You would need to order one from HP. You could also ask if they have a more powerfull one. As far as overheating, you may be able to switch out the fan for one with more rpms. Also clean out any dust on a regular basis.
