Computer question about power supply for HP?

I recently replaced my power supply and now everytime I turn on my computer, It frezzes on the blue HP start up screen or sometimes I get a error screen that says "Reboot and select Boot Media. What is wrong?! I have a HP Pavilion desktop, I bought it about 3 years ago, PLEASE HELP!! Thanks. if its not hooked up properly, how do I hook it up right?

1. Try and reinstall again. Can you get to a point where you can restore it? If so try that.
2. If it's a generic power supply it may not work in the HP. If you still have the old power supply, compare the color of the wires going to the connectors. If they don't match, it won't work. Also, make sure the connector going to the HD is firmly seated. It sounds like it can't find your hard drive.
