HP Colour Laser jet 1600 Printer Red colour is missing with a new Genuine HP Magenta Print catridge?

I tred to clean all sensors and all the connectors cleaned.Done cold reset and done factory defaults.Still the same .When printing the supply status page it is showing 100% but in that particular(Magentad Bar it is empty) What could be the problem.Please inform me in details soon. Thanks and regards

1. Hope the cartridge is not good. Try replacing it with your old cartridge and take printout. (at least you must be able to see something for magenta). If you are able to see magenta output, request a replacement for your new cartridge.
