Which laptop is the best, least expensive?

I would like to purchase a laptop computer that's for a heavy/intense user. I do not play computer games, but i do play songs/videos. I also burn them. I also use a lot of work programmes like those from Microsoft, Adobe, etc..., and tend to run a few programmes at the same time. The laptop (HP) i am using keeps crashing and giving me problems. Basically i need one that is for a heavy user, efficient, not too big a size as i will be using it for travels, and will not cost me and arm and a leg. What do you recommend? 1. Try ASUS laptops. http://www.asus.com/products.aspx?l1=5&l2=26 ASUS is a top quality maker and an Original Design Manufacturer ODM). The other top laptop makers are just system builders and buy their barebones from ODMs then just put in the cpu, HDD, etc. ASUS is well known among PC enthusiasts for its wide range of quality motherboards. HP uses ASUS motherboards.

I bought my Acer Laptop in Singapore for 1100 SGD 4520G it has dedicated graphics btw If u wan price go for acer their specification is gd for price but i hear pple say that Acer sucks for quality but so far no problems with my Acer Laptop If u dun play game go for one with no dedicated graphics for cheaper cost Basically many laptops fit yr needs u just nid to know whether u are getting the right price for the components in the laptops
