HP Laptop Power Compatability (US-INDIA)?

I bought a HP laptop from the US. Shortly I moved to INDIA and using the same power adapter connecting it to the plug without any converter. Apparently I find that the adapter gets heated quickly. The power supply in india is 230V comparing 110V of US. Do I need to use a convertor for using the ac adapter here in the India? FYI my Adapter Specifications are 65 AC Adapter Input : AC 100 - 240V ~ 1.5A Output : DC 19.5 V Should I need to use a convertor or can use the same ?

1. i would go with a converter just in case:)
2. NO - you don't have to use any converter when you say that the adapter has "Input : AC 100 - 240V " specification. Don't worry about the heating, nothing will happen to it. I use my laptop(s) in India and nothing has happened to 'em ( I too bought them in US).
