I just got a new HP dv2000 laptop. All I've done really is get it configured to my home and school wireless. I have a linksys wireless g with speedbooster at home and whether it's wireless or directly connect to the router I never have an "excelent" connection, always just "good". Why is that? Am I running my comp or a slower wireless connection (802.11b/g vs 802.11 b or whatnot)? What can I do to check this? Should I just assue the defaults are the optimal connections? Is it a problem with my router? How can I get an "excellent connection" at home? Thanks!
