  2. I recently bought a new computer, and regardless of whether I tried the internet, or a store, all I found was Vista. I was told by a salesman at Best buy that as of 1-1-07, nothing is coming out with XP. Needless to say, I was not happy

They may have taken them off the shelves, but these XP laptops are still sitting untouched in the storage. Most of them will be sold online.   6. if youre looking for a new laptop (not refurbished) then id try to stay away from tigerdirect as a vast majority of their computers are refurbs. Most retail stores, if not all of them, only offer vista now, so yo would be better off going to hp.com and finding the computer you want and then call their customer service # and tell them you have found the exact computer you want, but you just wish you could get xp on it instead of vista.   7. You must spend your money for the best brand. As I know HP and Dell are the best in laptops for a long time and they are very reliable too. I trusted HP and I bought a HP laptop 2 years before, and still like the day I bought it. Didn't even have to service it at least once up to now. I recommend you to buy a HP (with experience) or Dell laptop. On www.hp.com you can even customize your laptop. And also you can check the price.
