My HP Laptop is not reading a new 2 GB memory card produced by Dane-Elec. Both my Dell laptops are reading it

My HP laprtop has had no problems reading all my other Sandisk type memory cards.

1. I hope your hp has the correct memory slot, for example sd slot for an sd card... if so, does another card work in the hp? if not the card reader is probably broken... other than that maybe something software related, need more details on the card reader and card, type... has the reader read that type before... good luck hope this helps
2. If you have Win Vista make sure it is compatible. Or download the Vista driver for it.
