I would also like to know if anyone knows where I can find great deals on notebook packages, preferably newer models.

9. When I purchased my new HP laptop, I went to Sams Club. The prices were great, I was able to get the laptop on the spot, and the extended warranty available at sams is quite cheap (and relatively good.)
10. www.dell.com. HP laptops aren't that great nowadays.
