How to reboot my HP Pavilion dv6000 laptop?
Hi, I have a really nice laptop an HP Pavilion dv6000, which rarely gave me any trouble. However recently I am noticing that my laptop has been acting a little slow on me, which I quickly noticed. I have a vista home premieum os, and I know a virus has somehow gotten passed my McAfee security. The only thing I can do now, is reboot make new from start. If anyone knows the steps for rebooting this specific type of HP, please tell how. Thank you.

- What are you talking about ? Just press reboot ?
- mate theres something wrong with your technical terms, reboot = restart. but i guess in this case you are asking for a reformat,or system recovery,if im not wrong every HP laptop/desktop comes with a system recovery option, and u can do that by holding F10 while u are starting you laptop. but take note that it will restore to the very original settings(which means before anything is installed). so i would suggest you to get a external hard drive and save all those files inside it and do a virus scan to it.so after you do a system recovery you can back them up. hope it helps u
