How to change the DVD RAM (Dual layer) drive of my HP-pavilion 1000 laptop pl.?

I want to change the optical drive(DVD RAm) of my HP Pavilion laptop(1000 series).Where I can get the spare parts or how to change that ,please anyone tell me.

1. Go on hp.com, and search for hp laptop parts. You should get a link. Crappy linksys router is down, so im using my cell, which is slow, so I would have posted the link if i could. sorry
2. Reading your question is as clear as mud, you want to change it from to what ?? but any way ,if you get like for like ie nec dvd cd reader writer/nec dual layer dvd reader writer for the same make it should just pop in
3. Personally I'd go to www.dabs.com they sell everything to do with computers at very reasonable prices too!
