I have an HP Laptop ...not sure what the # is , but im running AMD Athlon Turion64 with XP pro . Problem is,i?

Had to reinstall everything due to bad stuff that was done by my kids. Now, nothing works right, the fingerprint sensor has no software, my touchpad has no controls and i hate it. This wasnt a cheap laptop . If i call HP since this is only a few mos old can i get a new one? This isnt the first time i had problems with this machine. are there lemon laws for computers? thanks! i found the disc.

1. It sounds like you just reinstalled the operating system. HP includes a second disk with additional drivers and utilities. I have an HP too, and that's your best bet.
