  1. Avoid like the plaque. I am getting snowed under with emails from people like this stating that someone has died, looking for money, blah, blah
  2. I dunno. Sounds kinda fishy, what with all the requests for personal information, the off-kilter grammar, the addition of an irrelevant tragedy, the larger-than-necessary offer, and whatnot. Kinda reads like a Nigerian scam. At the very least, I'd try and contact the guy and work out more details (definitely only give contact info after getting and confirming his).
  3. Don't know about all of it, but be very careful concerning the money order. We have been having a problem with fake money orders and cashier's checks in Illinois.
  4. DO NOT give this guy your information......What can happen is that the "money order" is not real, you deposit into your account, then have to pay money on the fraudelent monies while in the meantime you send him this product. Tell him you will accept PayPal...then the money has to be verified first. Or, you can get the money order first by setting up a PO Box somewhere and then finding out from the bank if it is a true money order by contacting the money order suplier listed on it....you can verify it before depositing.....make sure you get his phone number and home address first before proceding in case it is a scam.... The over the requested price is what concerns me....just be cautious.
