Why HP is Horrid!?
If anyone has any thoughts or comments please post, the best comment will get points. I just got off the phone with HP sales / support and they will not offer ANYTHING on the hpoffers.com website. The Rep then started to tell me that I should purchase a computer from Bestbuy and not from HP because HP will not take their products back if there is a problem. I stated that I wanted to order a laptop from online and that I wish to have some help in the matter. I told him that if he cannot help me then perhaps a sale rep or his supervisor could help me. He got aggrivated and stated that he nor anyone else could help me and told me that he was going to drop my call if there is nothing else that I could do. I stated again that I would like help to purchase a laptop and see about the offers. He stated that he is dropping the call. 11:42 AM - Call dropped.... Any thoughts... I believe that the people these companies employ are just ignorant and need to reattend High School.

- Agreed. HP sucks donkey balls. Atleast you didn't buy from them and have to deal with their customer service when your equipment breaks. I did, and it was about as bad as your experience trying to buy. After being redirected to the same guy for the umteenth time, I got fed up and took it back.
- we got a new hp and have had a very hard time trying to deal with the service department i am very angry that i have a years worth of tech support that is basically worthless not to mention the language barrier because hp does not have to pay the people they employ overseas the rates they would have to pay people here at home go with a dell
- HP has always been good to me - ive had problems with my scanner, 3 of my printers and my all-in-one and they have always been clear and concise in their answers. They always check up to see if their suggested method worked. i dunno, you must have talked to the wrong guy. cheers
- I phoned HP about 3 years ago when a USB drive I had purchased from CompUSA, wouldn't install on my W98 Computer. He said it only works on XP, I replied all the other drives are installing on 98. CompUSA returned my money so HP just lost a sale, hehe, and I make sure I dont purchase any new HP equipment.
- trust me when i was making a call for my friend who owns a compaq, the HP said that they're gonna charge a $40 on my phone bill just for calling and asking for tech support after warranty, which i didn't kno, and i had a hell of a time and told him not to charge any coz i was calling from my friend's phone and i said i don't need help, and compusa, is another worst service if u cud call them, they are all rude over rude and u neva wanna call them in your life,
