How long does it take for an ebay item to be delivered to your your doorstep after you have payed online?

Hi, if you are a regular ebay user then I could use some of your existing knowledge. I was wondering if you could tell me how many days it takes for an item to be delivered to my doorstep after the purchase online. I have just registered as an ebay user and have just bought won the item of which is a laser printer, the money has been taken from my account as I have checked and I wanted how many days it takes for the arrival of the purchase. I was also wondering if you could give me your advice on the item I have just bought. I bought this big NEW Dell 5110 Laser printer for just £10.00 and £7.00 postage so £17.00 in total. I was so curious when I bought it and payed for it as it seems to be very less or a huge bargain because this item on the official dell website costs around £300-£600 pounds. So please if are a regular user of buying ebay items and paying online through "PayPal" tell me how many days it takes for the item to be delivered to my doorstep.

  1. It depends how quick the person post the item. I use e-bay and post my stuff the day after the person pays but not everyone posts as quick. I'd give it a week and you should have it.
  2. It varies from seller to seller. I've sold things and posted them that very day when I've received payment, but sometimes when I've bought things I dont receive them for a week.
  3. Well it seems like a good deal, but if you are new to eBay did you read the information correct. You may of just won a letter telling you how you could get this item for a great price. If you buy from my shop you normally would receive within 4 days from the day of purchase. http://firstclassvibrations.co.uk
  4. it shouldn't take more than a week to arrive. Have you been in contact with the seller if not then send him an email stating that you still have yet to receive your item. Sounds like a really good bargain but sometimes you have to be really careful as thay are not always kosher. if you don't receive a reply to your email or the item within a week then contact ebay and they will refund your money and then leave this person bad feedback. You have to be vary when someone is selling an expensive item for peanuts. (please note readers i'm not saying everyone is like that!)
  5. it depends on how quick the seller dispatches the item out, and who he sends it by, some sellers only dispatch once a week. Why not ask the seller when your item will be dispatched. Good luck.
  6. ask the seller?
  7. delivery times depend on the seller and can be up to 28 days..go and check on the listing there should be something saying how soon after payment the seller aims to post, if not then you can email them and ask.. all reliable ebay sellers are happy to give posting times and answer any questions you may have.. however it sounds strange to me so i should look very carefully at the listing and check you haven't been misled, i'm don't think that it is even possible to post a laser printer for £7.. fingers crossed you just got a bargain but be on the ball because maybe you been ripped off...
  8. I've bought many items from eBay and only once has delivery taken more than a week, and the seller apologised for the delay. The vast majority of items arrive in about 3 days. I have had absolutely no problems with Paypal. Hopefully you've got yourself a bargain.
  9. It depends how fast the seller posts the item off. Most of them do this quickly if you have paid for the item. It depends which postal service they have used, for example 1st or 2nd class. I buy off ebay and find most people send items promptly. Does sound like you have got a bargain but that can happen.
  10. You need to contact the seller. They should mark the item as dispatched once it has been sent and you should be able to see this in the 'my e-bay' section. If there is no reply from the seller you can go to the resolution area of ebays site. They wont let you make a complaint for I think 14 working days as you need to allow enough time for it to arrive. I would personally get suspicious after 7 working days.
  11. DELL makes money on INK (& Toner) .. their Printers are notorious for this .. they also 'bundle' (i.e give away for free) Ink Jet Printers during their 'special offers' & I bet they do the same for Laser printers to Bussinesses = so putting a silly high list price on it makes the punters think they are getting a 'good deal' .. Anyone getting a 'free' Dell Ink Jet printer would be well advised to use it untill the Ink runs out & then throw it away ... because a new set of Dell Ink Cartridges costs more than a new Dell printer I wouln't be at all supprised to find the same for their Lasers ...
