Suggest a Printer?

I'm planning on starting my own drafting business (small business just me) from home and I need to get a printer. My maximum budget is $500 and it has to have 8.5" x 11" and 11" x 17" capabilities. I would prefer a laser jet over one with ink and one that can take a lot of use and the toner cartridges aren't really expensive. It would have to have a lot of memory to handle a large drawing file. The quality has to be good because the drawings would be going to my customers for them to use. I have a Lexmark All-In-One (Printer, Copier, Scanner) with color capabilities but I've had so much trouble with the thing and ink goes very quickly. Your suggestions would be very appreciated. cannon has a rebate sale (50% off purchase price) for next 2 weeks. I would get an all in one that can do 11.5 x 17. go to cannon website to pick models and then the retailers. rebate applies only to "personal printers" whatever that means.
