What is my printer, a Laser or Inkjet?

3. I'd need to know the model number. I have a Lexmark 4 in 1at home and that's inkjet. But we have several Lexmark 4 in 1s at work and they're monochrome laser. Chances are you have an inkjet. Look at your manual - does it talk about replacement ink cartridges or replacement toner cartridges? (toner = laser printer)
4. I have one, and mine is inkjet. Does it take cartridges that you need to replace?
5. does it use toner or cartridge . If it has cartridge then it's a inkjet. The toner comes in a long plastic case and its like a powder. Gud Luck
6. Inkjet printers will have small very expensive inkjet carftridges that will need replaced every now & then, where laser printers have a long replacable barrell cartridge what will last for thousands of prints in relation to the inkjets cartricges!
