Laser Printer or Inkjet printer for printing Grocery Store Sale Signs on 7x11 Cards?

like the subject says right now I am a produce manager and I currently print our sale signs on 7x11 cards. right now I am doing it using a cheap 30 dollar lexmark inkjet catridge that I have to refill ink on ALL THE TIme would buyig a laser printer in the long run be cheaper and easier and print more sings? vs an inkjet if so would you have any reccomendations? cost is a factor , so Im not wanting a 900 laser printer, but may somehwere around 150 bucks , but not over would do the trick? A laser printer may not even be what im looking for to print signs, im not sure?

  1. Using something like FedEx/Kinko's would be cheaper over the long run and the grocery store can write off the expense. I used to print 13" x 19" marketing posters on High Quality Glossy Paper - needed to have a cartridges on hand at all times. The EPSON Printer cost $500 (in 2002) and the cartridges were $50 rach - one could print 4 or 5 posters per set of cartridges. Laser Printers are more restricted on the type of paper which can be used.
