What is a good cheap laser printer to buy for home use?
Public Comments
- HP INKJET
- Lexmark has a ton of inexpensive stuff out there, and if you check ebay you might find a laser printer for 15 bucks brand new like i did (and a Canon no less)...good luck and happy hunting.
- Go for HP (1st choice) or Samsung (2nd choice,)
- For home use, the Samsung ML1610 or ML1620 laser would be optimal. These are priced aptly between 6000~9000 Indian rupees (US $150~ $200)
- Epson Stylus C45. Simple to operate, cheap to print, basic function for home use, one colour and one black cartridge, replacement or refills cheap, very fast and around AU$50.
- Laser printers are not cheap. We just bought the HP 1320 and it is great. $299.99 at Office Depot. Toners are around $70.
- Brother and Lexmark make a couple of good cheap lasers... and I think the Lexmark product "mix" is changing, so you'll probably find some clearance bargains if you hunt around your local office supply stores. (The Brother HL-2040 is dirt-cheap right now, for example - if you can still find one) Bear in mind that the upfront costs of running a laser are higher (toner cartridges will often run into three figures) but the cost-per-page is much lower than, say, inkjet, because the cartridges last thousands of pages.
- office max and office depot usually have a samsung for arounf 80.00, sometimes less with rebates, they are good for light home office use
- Samsung or Brother. Only because the cartridges are cheaper to replace than an HP.
- you should try hp or canon laser jet, it is guarantee to last long it can save you more
- Try looking at Canon products (or) emachines
