Comparing laser printers?

Hello all. I need to buy a new printer. I want a small, reliable printer with excellent image quality, low cost per page and reasonable printing time for my home/home office use, where every now and then I could print out a paper of about 20-30 pages. I am thinking of buying Oki B2400. I have looked at CNet, Computer Reports, Newegg, etc, but can't find reviews for it. CR recommends Dell 1720 - but they have not tested Oki. Does anybody know how Oki B2400 compares to Dell 1720? Thank you very much, Ole O

  1. The Oki B2400 is not a laser printer. It is a LED printer. LED has been around along time and Oki has been a big proponent of LED printers. The B2400 was/is not a very popular model from Oki. I have no direct experience either. The Dell 1720 is a Lexmark printer. It is a fast, inexpensive, reliable printer. The Dell supplies are expensive. The Samsung 3051 is almost identical to the Dell and the supplies are much cheaper.
