brother laser printer HL-1440 w/o CD?

How do I install the brother laser printer HL-1440 w/o the CD? My friend just gave me the printer and USB but not the CD is there a way to use the printer?

2. standard answer 47: go to the manufacturer's website, you are looking for 'downloads' sometimes you have to go to support first. be sure to select the proper model # of the printer AND your operating system. (Win 2k drivers won't work on 9x for example)
