How do I reset the drum counter on my Brother HL2030 laser printer?

The handbook does not advise this.

1. Check the brother software for a program that helps with printer problems. It's visual and color-coded.
2. i`m sorry for you, but there is practically no way you can still reset it if you are smart enough and handy with electronics: just open your printer, find the counter, unplug one of its pins from the mainboard and start hitting it with 12 volts. you will have a lot to click... until you turn it over. there is still an other way to do this: locate the counter, pull it out, open the counter, align the counting wheels and put the counter back together. c ya
3. Open the front cover of the printer. Press and hold down GO button for about 4 seconds until all the LED's light up. Once all LED's are lit, release the GO button. Close the front cover. Cake and pie.
