Speed up the 1-min Warm-up Process of my Laser Printer?
I have the Samsung ML-2251N Laser Printer. Its very modern and can print 20 ppm. The problem i have is that when i go to print just 1 page it takes about 1 min to get it printed. I think its because the laser printer has to warm up first before it can begin printing and in so doing takes 1 min for it to begin. is there a way to have it stay warmed up on power-up (of the printer) all day long so that when i send new jobs to it any time of the day it will print right away? Thanks

- even if you could, you would drasticly reduce the life ofyour printer. the printer puts toner on a page then the infuser melts it to the page, it has to be hot to do this. if the element was on all the time, it would wear out faster.
- Update your printer driver Check the settings
- Take the printer out of sleep mode. It is a setting found in your driver or if it has a display look at the settings. Your looking for power save mode. Turn it off. They all have them but the procedure is different for each model.
