Speed up the 1-min Warm-up Process of my Laser Printer?

I have the Samsung ML-2251N Laser Printer. Its very modern and can print 20 ppm. The problem i have is that when i go to print just 1 page it takes about 1 min to get it printed. I think its because the laser printer has to warm up first before it can begin printing and in so doing takes 1 min for it to begin. is there a way to have it stay warmed up on power-up (of the printer) all day long so that when i send new jobs to it any time of the day it will print right away? Thanks

  1. even if you could, you would drasticly reduce the life ofyour printer. the printer puts toner on a page then the infuser melts it to the page, it has to be hot to do this. if the element was on all the time, it would wear out faster.
  2. Update your printer driver Check the settings
  3. Take the printer out of sleep mode. It is a setting found in your driver or if it has a display look at the settings. Your looking for power save mode. Turn it off. They all have them but the procedure is different for each model.
