Can I setup my printer to wake my desktop computer from standby mode?

I don't use my desktop much, but I have a samsung laser printer connected to it, and I'd like to be able to print from my laptop even if the desktop computer is in standby mode. I've already got it networked and shared, so it's working, I just need information about waking the desktop from standby mode.

1. Easier to simply buy a printer server unit, lille box that lets you conenct a USB printer to a network. DLink do a nice little one, great idea, we can all print to my Brother Laser without other PCs being on.
