What paper do i need for a laser jet printer?

What paper will i need for a laser jet printer im getting a samsung laser jet its only a black and white printer as im not going to be doing anything fancy i went to Smiths today and was advised that their HP everyday inkjet paper would suffice for my needs...but im not sure ,im only going to be ever printing text also could you tell me what weight of paper im best buying please

1. regular 20lb bond will do fine. copy paper of the same weight will do. good luck
2. Smiths are right. Anything between 75 and 100gsm will be ok. wdw
3. Laser Jet printers are not fussy. You can run them on just about anything. Any standard 20 lb paper will work fine. The laser jet paper is designed to absorb the ink a little faster so that it reduces the chances that touching the paper in the first couple seconds after printing will cause it to smudge. Beyond that, there is no advantage to "laser jet" paper.
