  1. Yikes that's hard to read. Good laptop, bad operating system. If you're just going to be gaming go with XP over vista. XP gets better frame rates and overall has better benchmarks for gaming than vista.
  2. It's a solid laptop. You have discrete graphics, means you have a separate video card not integrated, so you'll have better results in gaming. It really depends on what you want to play, but Halo (which you have) is going to run well. So will Orange Box. Games like Bioshock and Crysis should run fairly well too. For good video card drivers (faster performance), check out www.laptopvideo2go.com/
  3. That's overkill for most games out today. And yes put XP on it Vista is still getting bug tests. That looks like a system you would run something big like World of Warcraft or another online MMORPG.
  4. Sounds good, just lose Vista as that is a crap operating system that Microshaft is trying to push on everyone like a bad drug. Vista is slower as it is much more demanding on system resources. Dell XPS has an option for XP when you order from Dell.
  5. it soudns pretty good, if you could get it with wondows XP tho you should .. Vista is really not built up for gaming right now. but other than thats its pretty good
  6. Is that a Dell?
  7. Get a faster hard drive, 5400 rpm is wimpy. Put XP on it, not Vista. (If you do get Vista for it, put in more memory as well.) It should play most games well if you make those changes. Without the changes, it's still a decent laptop for gaming.
