calendars homemade?

I would like to make a nice calendar for my dad with pictures of the family and including b'days and other important dates so he won't forget...is there a place that I can download a free template? Also what kind of paper and do I need a special printer or would my color one be enough? Thank you.

1. Hi You could have a look here: http://familycrafts.about.com/cs/calendars/a/122900a.htm I would use a thin card for the cover and then you could use photographic paper for the pages and an inkjet printer should be fine but remember to set the printer properties for photo paper. Hope this helps!
