Getting Black&White+Color 8x10 Headshot, will i need to purchase extras copies also? (free or not)?

For example when i get the headshots and whenever i need to send them over the internet, I can easily scan them because my printer has one built in. But in some other cases i will need to mail/drop in my headshot and i wont be giving my original. Is it a good idea to get some extra copies at the place? I was thinking of buying photo quality printing paper and making my own copies at home after scanning, but not sure how the quality will turn out. By the way, the only reason i listed and white is because they wanted both B&W and color from me. 1. No one uses black & white headshots anymore - you are 10 years too late. It's all color. Home scanned and printed headshots look terrible and you will come across as an absolute amateur. Besides, ink and paper costs a fortune so it's not even worth it compared to getting the real deal. Headshots also need to be 8x10 which is the industry standard (certainly not 8x11, like the photo paper you would be buying if you try to do it yourself) Bottom line, go to a professional print house and get real reproductions made for less. You should also insist that the photographer gives you the digital file of the image. In fact, you should have received it from the get go, so you never had to resort to this scanning nonsense in the first place.
