Color laser printers...?

I am looking for a laser printer. I don't want to spend over $500 and I want something that has long lasting ink cartridges. I would prefer that it doesnt use a drum cartridge either. Just a simple color laser printer that is very cost-efficient. Thanks For the drum cartridge thing..i guess I wont mind a drum, but as long as it is long lasting... thanks again

No such thing as a colour laser without a drum A colour laser user 4 lasers, 4 drums and 4 toners, + 1 transfer belt if it's a "parallel print" high speed model OR 1 laser, 1 drum and 4 toners on a rotating cage and a transfer belt, if it's a cheaper slower model. Although the slower models like the MAgicolour 2400 series are cheaper and have only 1 drum they cost more to run tha it's big brother the 5450 with 4 lasers and 4 drums, as it used the drum much quicker. Also a more expensive "Purchase price" on the printer tends to make the consub\mables less expensive over it's life. Really all depends on what you plan to print and how much.
