May I get help buying my laser monochrome printer?

What is the most economical, cheap and cost effective HP printer that a student can buy, i need it to print reserch papers, and i don't need the toner to be very expensive. Please help.

1. printer companies don't make money out of printers they make money out of toner so don't expect it to be very cheap. you can buy a good printer and use economic mode while printing. this is available in Xerox Phaser 3117. you can buy refurbished toner cartridges or get your cartridge refilled 2-3 times before you get a new one. this can save you upto half the price of original new cartridge.
