how to use black toner only oh HP laserjet 5550dn?

Got me an HP Laserjet 5550dn and it seems to be chewing up the color toners fast. My guess is that it's using the color carts everytime it prints out the black text to give it that fine photo quality text print. Can anyone give me an idea or a way to have it set so that it uses only the black cart and not the colored ones when it prints out black print?
