Do I need a special flash for my Nikon Digital Camera? What is the big difference between typical digital cameras (Nikon D200) and other cameras like sony xcd 910? The price is comparable, but the sony only has like 2 Mpix while the Nikon is 10MPix. They are two different TYPES of cameras, but they are both ccd cameras. The sony can be controlled by computer- is that all it is? I need a digital camera expert here. Thanks. Ok, I need someone to really look at the cameras. They are two completely different types. The nikon is one that you would use for typical photography while the sony is one you connect to a computer and do experiments with. I am wondering if I can do experiments with the Nikon. I want to know why the Sony is so expensive when it only has 1/10th of the pixels. So if I am just doing an experiment with 2 images, are there any drawbacks with the Nikon or do I just get the benefit of 10Mpix?

I'm looking at Canon/Sony/Nikon digital cameras... $200-300. Which is best? I like Canon, Sony, and Nikon digital cameras because I have each make solid cameras. I am willing to spend between $200-300. I currently own a Sony and thought it took great pictures. I read an online article that looked at a bunch of cameras and the Canon PowerShot 10.0-Megapixel Digital ELPH Camera, Model SD880IS, was the best. When I read reviews for this camera online I read where this camera has a lot of noise from light sensitivity... I'm not sure how much that come up, and it is still new to me. Anyways, I also saw where some Nikon's have a better zoom. Something I read said megapixels do not make that much of a difference anymore. Which qualities should I look for exactly?
