All Brands of Delivery of Office Supplies/Office Stationery/Printer Toners in Dubai? I want to know if there are any office suppliers or office stationery companies that can deliver Items at my office. Im new in Dubai and don't know which supplier to trust in terms of service and prices. Pantry supplies and Printer Toners are also essential, and It would be amazing if the same company could deliver both Toners and pantry supplies. We are located in Dubai. Thanks.
How to view Printer Supplies Status or Consumables Usage on your comp. screen? How can I view my Supplies Status or Consumable Usage Status on my Computer Screen? I do inventory and would rather view the status of my toner cartridges from my desk. Is there a freeware program that does this? Or is there a way to do this with Printer Properties or anything else? Thanks. But I only have one printer Networked. The rest are shared through the local computers they are attached to. How can I view the status of those?
What's a good starting printer/cutter/software for vinyl printing/cutting? I've found a few machines that print/cut 12" or 24" wide in the $600-800 range, plus "starter kits" of the supplies that would give me a range of colors for around $400. This is about what I'm looking for in terms of price of the cutter, but what I'm wondering is what are some specific brands to recommend or warnings to stay away from? The next question I have, is what about the vinyl cutter software? I've found plenty that you can make things in the program itself and cut from it, but is there any software that lets you import from Photoshop? What are some of the better vinyl cutting programs? Likewise, what are some of them to avoid? Overall, I'm willing to make an initial investment of around $2000, so what kind of suggestions are there for that price range when including the cutter/printer, supplies, and software? My only stipulations besides price are that the cutter has to be able to actually print images, and everything has to be Windows based.
HP printer not recognising HP toner supplies as 'authentic'? I have an HP LaserJet 2600n and when I insert toner cartridges it tells me "non-HP supplies installed" or words to that effect. Yet I have never bought anything other than HP toner, and from reputable stores, too - so they're not refilled cartridges or anything like that. Anyone got any suggestions before I call HP and condemn myself to several hours in tech support purgatory? I have tried Googling and I have tried the HP support pages, too. No dice.
How much do you usually spend on books and school supplies for college? I'm going to be living on campus next year, and I happened to get lucky because I have some stuff already (storage bins, computer, printer, and some supplies for class). I might have to spend money on supplies such as binders, paper, pencils... etc. But how much do students usually spend on college textbooks? Is it better getting used or brand new ones? How much cheaper are used books?
Is there a way to get a printer cartridge out of a printer without a power supply? My old printer has a printer cartridge in it, and I can't find the power supply cord to it anywhere.... Is there a way to get it out without the power supply? Thanks, well now I have another question lol, I have my printer hooked up and it turns on, but no ink, so I tried to run a test page or print another one (Didn't realize no ink at this point) but should the page still run through? Because a page didn't even go through, I was just wondering is there something wrong?

Connect two 16V power supplies to make a 32V one? I have a printer that needs a 32v, 2500mah power supply. But they are expensive. I have two old laptop power adapters, each is a 16V, 7500mah supply. Can I connect these two to create a 32V supply for my printer? Thanks!
What is the running costs for a Xerox Phaser printer? I know enough to know that it's never the cost of the printer that one should be concerned with, but rather it's the ongoing cost of supplies for running that printer which will get you. Let's say that I'm going to print post cards 4-up on a sheet. So one side will have pretty heavy ink cover (like photos) and the other side of the page will just have some text printed on it along with the name and address. To get to a "per-page-cost" I believe I'll need to know how many prints I can get from each of the four color "crayons" that the Phaser uses given my typical color printed page described above. Once I have that page yield for the color supplies I will then be able to compute some sort of "cost-per-page" for comparison to other color printing methods available in the marketplace.

What is the best laser printer with the lowest total cost of ownership? I would like to find a monochrome laser printer that has a reasonble retail price (hopefully less than $450). More important, though, are the cost of supplies and how often they will need to be replaced. Is there a printer for which you can simply add toner rather than replace drums and cartridges? I would like a printer that is rated for at least 15,000 pages per month. Any suggestions and comparisons will be appreciated!
Where can I find a power cord for a Lexmark X5650 printer? I misplaced mine and I was wondering if there was a place I could buy just a new cord and not a whole printer considering the printer is still new. I need the cord that connects the printer to the power supply. A website or store or something? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
Can I connect to my wireless printer from my wired connection? My Canon MP620 is discoverable by all 4 laptops in my house but the one wired connection cannot detect it. The wired connection is to the same router that supplies the wireless network. I have the option to set the printer up via USB but I cannot move the desktop computer to the printer nor can I easily move the printer to the desktop.
Do appliance power supplies always draw the same amount of current? I've done a little searching and I guess there are two basic types of power supplies: 1. Linear Power Supplies - I pretty much know the basics of how these work, and it seems to me that they would always draw the same amount of current, since, the power goes through a coil so it's always a closed circuit with the same resistance. Right? 2. Switched-Mode Power Supplies - I've got a fuzzier understanding of these. The power goes through other solid-state components before hitting the transformers, so I guess it's possible to adjust the current, but, do they? For instance, a desktop PC power supply: When the processor steps to a higher or lower frequency and voltage, or when a disk drive turns off or on, does the power supply adjust the current on the AC side? What about when it goes into sleep mode? And do those box power supplies, that printers and game systems use, still draw the same amount of current when turned off? Wow, this turned into quite a few questions, lol.

I am trying to restore old photos and when I achieve the results I want, my printer is shades off from what is diplayed on the screen. I have a new computer with Windows Vista software. My ink supplies are adequate, the photo paper is of high standard and and I select "Best" print to achieve a high quality photo. The result is a great photo but the color is no where near what I worked to get.

Can anyone give me the name of a printer that prints well and is cheap? I need a color printer for school that is cheap. It has to be good at printing and not use too much ink. The printer HAS to be from HP. Please supply a specific printer -.-.
My printer is jammed too far back for me to reach, what can I do? I have a HP PSC 1510 All-in-one printer. I was testing to see how it would print on my wedding invitation envelopes and used a doubled piece of typing paper to run through to test, and that piece of paper got jammed. It's jammed so far back inside that I cannot reach it. Is it safe to take screws out to try and get a better reach to the paper? How can I fix this? I have to finish printing my invitations soon and have things for my college classes that will need printing in the next few days and cannot afford a new printer and ink supply. This model doesn't have a back access point, and I bought it almost two years ago so warranty voiding isn't a big deal to me.

How to link computers with printer via wireless network, using XP and Vista.? Hello, I have a primary computer, connected to my wireless network, wirelessly, and connected to my printer, physically. This computer runs on Windows Vista. I have a laptop, which uses the same network, and when I set it up with my printer, it will work, and print. But if I restart the computer it loses the settings and will not work again. I have a feeling that this is a common mistake, or a XP-Vista linking bug. I can supply more information, although I do need assistance.
Which printer is best for economical low quality printing of text files in b&w and color? I'm looking for a home printer that is reasonably priced, will last a while, and easy on ink to print out text files white black ink and color ink. Quality doesn't matter so much, as long as it's readable. I would also prefer the ink to be found at an office supply store, rather than ordering online, or through a service. If anybody can suggest a few models that do this, I would be very appreciative.
I'm looking for a photo printer that prints from the computer? For the last few years I have had a Kodak Easyshare CX7530 camera and the Easyshare Printer dock that came along with it. The dock connects to the computer and allows me to download images from the camera to the computer and to print photos from the computer to the printer dock. Kodak does not seem to make the printer docks anymore and we're looking for something that can supply similar functionality. We're also replacing the camera so if there are some good combos out there for camera/printers that someone can suggest that'd be greatly appreciated as well.
Can anyone give me assistance for a mobile printer? I'm looking for a thermal, mobile printer which can be used to print a 5x7" invoice from paper rolls. Do you think a Supplies Fee for Daycare is Fair?? I charge a $35 supplies fee for my in-home daycare every March, to help with the costs. Such as baby equipment, new toys, printer supplies, batteries, art & crafts, etc... That's my only additional fees for daycare other than the weekly tuition. What do you think? Oh, and I charge $130/wk. My weekly tuition is MY income for caring for their children ALL day and making sure they are clean and safe! But only a portion of that really goes to me. I have to pay for extra things, like electricity, water, food, cleaning supplies. And I was constantly buying things for daycare, toys, equipment, new random things, that my actual income was too low. So i thought $35 ONCE a year wasn't going to be too hard on the parents. I give them a receipt at the end of the year too. My rates aren't high for my area... I live in SC. They are about the going rate, but maybe a little bit on the upper end. They pay $35 when they start as well as again in March. But if they start close to March of course I wouldn't charge them twice. So regardless of when they start, they still need to pay $35. It's like a registration fee, but I made it clear of what it's for. It doesn't go in my pockets. And the idea of charging like a dollar extra a week isn't what I was looking for. I wanted everyone to pay that amount at the same time, so I could have a lump sum and go get new things for daycare that everyone could enjoy. i don't want to keep old toys, broken down things, etc. $35 isn't that much... most people I know charge $50-$100 and some charge twice a year.

How does wide format vinyl wrap printing work? I am trying to learn about the wide format vinyl wrap printing process that you see on cars, billboards, posters, and even buildings now. If anyone can provide information or give me a link that helps me understand the process that would be awesome. Thanks.
