The HP computer health installed in my computer tell me the computer can hold up to 4gb max. Need Expert Advice on Fixing HP Laptop Computer Startup Problem? My HP Pavilion dv6000 laptop recently stopped working. When I press the power button, it begins to start up as normal but after about a second it shuts right off. The blue lights on the keyboard all light up and the light where the power cord plugs in stays lit. Have tried using a different adapter and battery but had the same problem. The IT guy told us it was because the xbox was too much, and somehow reconfigured the hardrive, and there was another piece needed for that connection, but i dont know what tha piece is................. Where can I buy a replacement motherboard for a HP Pavilion dv2415nr laptop computer? My HP Pavilion dv2415nr (dv2400 series) will not boot up after I power-on and just freezes without beeping or even letting me enter BIOS. I believe the motherboard is having trouble but I can´t find where to buy a replacement (new or refurbished). This happens 90% of the time I powerup, the other 10% of the time it powers-up and boots perfectly and there seems to be no trouble with the HD or any other parts or the software.
HP laptop computer problem!!? This is driving me crazy. My HP froze on me today so I shut it off the way you're not supposed to and when I went to boot it up several hours later, it gets past the hp screen but when it comes to the loading screen, it just stays there. My hard drive light is lit and it doesn't blink. It doesn't do anything. I've tried my system restore discs, same thing. I've tried safe mode just now and it's not doing anything. It's stuck on please wait...loading windows files. I also tried last known good configuration. When I tried to load my computer earlier before the loading screen, I got a windows error that said something to the effect of a hardware or software file could have been damaged or corrupt. Windows Repair didn't do crap either. Everything I've tried leads me right to the loading screen. Please help!!! I've only had this laptop for 3 months! I have Windows 64-bit Vista.

I just purchased a Hp laptop computer with Windows Vista pre-installed.? But, I have noticed that it did not come with the Windows Vista os disk so that i can re-intall the OS in the event that i need to. What do I do if i need to re-install this Vista OS to the same machine if the comp di not come with the OS disk?

How can I operate multple operating systems on one computer? I've got an HP laptop computer with XP media operating system. I have a separate partition outside of this OS setup of about 10,000 mb. I want to install windows '95 on this separate partition. Is this possible and if yes how can I decide which OS is loaded at power on? I do not want to boot them both at once, I want to use one or the other at a time. And I have reasons for '95 that I will not elaborate on.
Samsung Tv as computer monitor for Hp Laptop? I wish to connect my HP laptop to my Samsung flat screen TV to enable me to watch downloaded TV via BBC iplayer. I have used a male to male VGA cable to connect the tv to the laptop but all I can seem to get is the background picture of my laptop showing on my TV. When I run Kaspersky Anti-Virus scan on my HP Laptop in the safe mode, my computer shuts down without warning? As my computer was running abnormally I called HP customer care. The agent advised me to run the virus scan in the safe mode. More than once I tried running the Kaspersky Virus scan, but my computer shuts down after some time without any warning. Sometime it shuts down after 20% of the scan or sometime after 80%. What might you think is the problem and how could I resolve it?
