Where could I buy a HP HDX 18 Laptop in India? When I surfed the HP India Website it shows details about HP HDX 18 Laptop. Yet, when I call the HP toll free no., they say this particular Laptop is not available in India. Is it available? If so, where can I buy it? Can I buy HP laptops online by customizing it (like in Dell)?

HP Pavilion series in India...? I was planning to buy the HP Pavilion dv6t Quad edition series Laptop with i7 processor. But it is not still available in India.. How much extra taxes and shipping charges I will have to incur if I directly order it from the HP U.S website? & When will Hp launch the i7 processors in India?

Hi ppl. i m looking for experts advise for my query. i m from India and i need to buy a laptop (Dell,HP,Sony) any of the listed brand. my main purpose Will be working on Eclipse (JEE application) and also playing high end games. i m looking for a lap which could help me do these things with no issues. my budget is (60-70k INRIpees). my expectations are 1) an i7 740 Pro 2) 4 or more DDR SD RAM 1333Mhz 3) 500 gb 7200 RPM HDD (max 640.. just interested in 7200 RPM) 4) A graphic card that ll enable me to pat leasteast CRY SISYSIS at high settings Suggest me a lap along with their price and configuration which i can purchase within my budget. or suggest me what can i do as my majority use will be gaming.. please dont get me a suggestion of alienware or ASUS G73 as they r far beyond my budget. Please let me know if there is a possibilty of shipping laptops from outside to india without any hassle with International warranty as well.I m not interested in ordering Dell from India Website as it is not having enough features.

Here is my Question again : I am Abhishek from Pune. I am looking to purchase a Laptop for my Wife who is doing PG in a College. Purpose is mostly for Seminar and Project Work and for normal Surfing and watching Movies occasionally. Gaming is of least Priority. It should also be a bit light in weight. I have shortlisted the following Laptops and wanted to know which would be my best bet taking into consideration the Specs, Performance, Build Quality, Reliability and After Sales Service. 1) Acer Aspire 4745 i3 2.26, 3 GB RAM, 320 GB HD, Win 7 HB - 34,990 /- 2) Acer TimelineX 4820T i3 2.13, 3 GB RAM, 320 GB HD, Win 7 HP - 37,000 /- 3) Dell Inspiron 14R i3 2.26, 3 GB RAM, 320 GB HD, Win 7 HB - 36,900 /- I was initially inclined towards the DELL but have read many horror stories of DELL's Build Quality and After Sales Service Issues. I do not know how is Acer compared to DELL in that respect. DELL does charge a Premium while you get the same Specs for a Bit lesser Price in Acer. Also, is Win 7 HB good enough or i should go for Home Premium. Is Acer 4745 discontinued as i do not see it listed in their Website? Please post your valuable suggestions as i will be purchasing a Laptop in a couple of Days. It also has very Good Reviews from Review Sites over the Internet. DELL's extended Warranty is also very Costly. Don't know about Acer. Should i still go for the DELL Inspiron 14R ? Good battery life for nearly or around 7-10hrs(must). 3-4gb ram, 14", less than 3 kg, stylish look, slim, finger print reader, 320-500 gb hd, intel processor, Wifi, blue tooth and other unknown new features.
