Anyone have Samsung laser printer burning paper? I have a Samsung ML2851ND that is scorching the paper whenever it gets a paper jam which is frequent. Suggestions for a problem with my Samsung laser printer? Model #ML-2510: Has worked perfectly for the last 2 years (seems warranty is over). The PC side of things seems OK. Samsung ML-1665 laser printer gets warm/hot when not in use? Hey all. I just recently purchased a Samsung ML-1665 laser printer. I love this unit, it's very quiet and fast for printing out almost anything. I do have one question/concern though. Even when this unit is just sitting idle with it powered on, the top back of the printer near where the model number and printing output is gets very warm/hot. I bought a Samsung laser printer from Office depot on line,? it doesn't have toners. I want to order so I contacted them to find out what item #s are. they gave me item # for magenta/Cyan/yellow. I asked for black. they said they don't have it. and they said: may be the printer makes black by other colors! well, I've never heard that. I searched their web site, they don't have the black. but, I found the black in samsung online store. I have to order all from officedepot. how should I do that? is that possible the black color is made out of other colors? how come there is a space for black cartridige in the printer? thanks. Samsung Color Laser Printer goes crazy when i plug it into my PC? hello, i recently bought a Samsung CLP - 310 Printer, and its been about only 2 weeks and it's already acting up, i have had about the worst history with printers because they apparently all suck =/ anyways the printer acts all fine, and the lights are green indicating everything is operational and working, but when i plug it into my laptop via USB the printer keeps disconnecting and reconnecting every second, i think it's turning off and on repeatedly. When I look for options to recycle the empties it seems that a number of organisations will only arrange a collection if you have a significant number and will only send you envelopes to post them off if you have inkjet cartridges not toner ones. Why is my ML1210 Laser Printer (Samsung) printing only on second command? I mean sometimes (not always), when I send a print command (any document - word, pdf, browser...) it doesn't print for the first time, but prints on sending print again. But when I see the print log, it shows the document is printed twice! This happens when I send print from the server (the computer which is attached to the printer) and also from other computers on the LAN. Why this happens? Is it the problem with any settings or physical problems like cable, etc. Thanks for the reply However I'm not telling about the delay! I can wait for as long as 5 minutes also! Problem is, it doesn't print at all. It prints when I send command again! I don't mind giving command twice, but what if there is an important document which I send print command and close (hoping that it would be printed). I have heard that when you buy printers (either laser or inkjet), the cartridge/toner that they give you isnt the full sized version. Can anyone give me a rough estimate as to how long (or, how many pages approximatey) can i get out of the black toner that already comes with the product? A normal full-sized black toner is supposed to do 1000 pages of text (I called the Samsung helpline yesterday). To make a sensible estimation, am i along the right lines to say that the already-supplied black toner will last me 500 pages? I don’t even know if the toner theyve given me is smaller-sized or whether it is in actual fact the real and full-sized thing. I did open up the printer and quickly had a look. The reason why im asking is because i originally bought this laser printer so that i can sit in my room and keep printing off draft copies of my university project (It saves me having to travel into uni every day to use the printer there). Im a bit worried now, though, because knowing my luck, after printing off draft copies of my essay. i bet the toner will run out the day before i have to hand in my work... Are laser printers more economical than ink jet (please read before answering)? The "common wisdom" I've seen in reading answers to questions like this seems to be: if you print a lot, go laser; if you print less, go ink jet. But my problem is that I have learned that if you don't use ink jet printers fairly often, the cartridges actually "dry up" from lack of use. I rarely print, and in fact several weeks might go by between printings. After such a time, I might suddenly find my printer to report that the ink is low. It seems like, with every ink jet printer I've had, I'm constantly replacing cartridges. And there's NO WAY I'm printing that much. I can verify this because I print almost exclusively B&W, and yet it's the color cartridges that usually run out. So, I'm thinking of replacing the two ink jets in the house with a low-cost color laser (a Samsung). I know that the toner cartridges are pricier than those for ink jet, but my thinking is that, no matter the cost, I should get 100% of the output from those toner carts. Basically, I'm looking for confirmation that laser toner cartridges don't "dry up" from lack of use. Besides, being shared between 2 people, the proposed new printer (wirelessly connected) should get at *least* weekly use.

Any Laser printers capable of printing "iron on heat Transfers"? Needs to be a big company like hp,brother,konica,samsung,okidata etc Ok most "wont work" and I tried with laser transfer paper and it gets stuck with the heat from the last drum...it needs to be a special printer...i just cant find one to order...

Speed up the 1-min Warm-up Process of my Laser Printer? I have the Samsung ML-2251N Laser Printer. Its very modern and can print 20 ppm. The problem i have is that when i go to print just 1 page it takes about 1 min to get it printed. I think its because the laser printer has to warm up first before it can begin printing and in so doing takes 1 min for it to begin. is there a way to have it stay warmed up on power-up (of the printer) all day long so that when i send new jobs to it any time of the day it will print right away? Printer help for my MacBook? I used to use a Canon colour printer (the one that came in the package deal with a MacBook this past summer), but it broke. I've been trying to hook up an older laser printer to my MacBook, but when I try to install the software, a message pops up saying "You cannot open the application 'Samsung Laser Printer installer' because it is not supported on this system." I tried installing a driver from Samsung's website, but I still get the same error message when I try to install the software. What should I do?
