What is the best color printer for home use? Or what is the best brand of printers for in home use? I had an epson stylus c60-color. It is good then all of sudden when I turned it on, it started making noises! I took it out and checked it out. It was a little black piece inside that just broke! I don't know how that happened ???!!!! :( So I need a new one now. Looking for a very good quality color printer for printing reports, essays and some pictures. What paper is the best/safest for laser printers (not color)? I purchased the Brother 2040 B/W laser printer. I have some black and white photographs and wanted to print them out with the laser printer. However, I've heard that I can't use gloss paper because the heat will melt the coating and ruin the printer. Is there high quality photo paper for laser printers? My color logo in Word prints with tiny dots on the edge on a B&W printer. How can I get rid of the dithering? The BW printer is a high en HP Laserjet, and the dots on the outside of the logo don't appear to show up if the logo is made in black instead of the company blue.
