HP printer not recognising HP toner supplies as 'authentic'? I have an HP LaserJet 2600n and when I insert toner cartridges it tells me "non-HP supplies installed" or words to that effect. When you buy a new toner cartridge from HP, they send you a postal proof that you can put back on the box it comes in, tape the box back up with your old toner cartridge, and mail it back. Why does my HP 2605 Laser Printer print dirty pages? Hi, I have a problem with my HP 2605 laser printer and wondered if anyone can help? It's producing dirty pages with a marbled effect across the entire page when printing. I have tried several types of papers and the text and images print fine although the pages appear dirty. Does the driver for HP LaserJet 1018 for VISTA provide toner depletion detection? Well the old drive for Windows XP actually tells you when to change the toner and when the toner is close to running out. The new drive (for vista, not XP) does not seem to do the same thing. Keep getting message "install toner" on HP 8500, even though I installed a new one. WHY? I have an HP 8500 Color laserjet printer. I just tried to replaced the yellow toner, but keep getting the error message "Install Yellow Toner". I've tried taking all of the toners out and putting them back in, restarting the printer, nothing has worked. Anyone got any ideas? This is the 3rd toner cartridge I've tried, so I'm fairly sure its something wrong with the printer itself. Will have to call in someone to fix it!

how to use black toner only oh HP laserjet 5550dn? Got me an HP Laserjet 5550dn and it seems to be chewing up the color toners fast. My guess is that it's using the color carts everytime it prints out the black text to give it that fine photo quality text print. Why is my HP Laserjet 1012 printing smears down the center of the page? These smears are small and run vertically down the center of the page. They are about 2" apart. I changed the toner and the smears still appear with the new cartridge.
Our HP color LaserJet 2550n prints only on the right half of the paper, why? All four toner cartridges are filled with enough toner and the drum still has about 35 % left of its life lenghth. The "ready light" indicates that everything is OK.

HP is selling manufacturing defect Toner? On 31/10/2008 I bought a Q2612A toner from (HP) esteemed concern which was replaced on 3rd December 2008 for the vertical line came out in every print. The replaced or repaired toner serial no. is 1008032. From very first day after installed replaced or repaired toner is not up to the mark and from 17th December 2008, again this vertical line has been coming out in every print. For which I have been failing to print necessary documents because the vertical line which has been coming out in the print is looking very odd. This is the first time I have been facing trouble with this toner. I have checked my printer with another toner collecting from one of friends and print is ok which has proved that the printer is OK. I went to HP Service Center (2, Ripon Street, CMC Building, Kolkata - 700016) with this problem where after testing the toner they refused me (Case ID: ININDARC14001008154, Date: 12/18/2008). I registered a complaint through “HP online Register a complaint form” (http://h20526.www2.hp.com/cchs/forms/SubmitCase_EU.asp) and sent an e-mail to soni.asthana@hp.com, indiaarc.helpdesk@hp.com along all the documents of purchased bill and sample test paper regarding this faulty toner (Q2612A) but after that there is no Response from HP still now.
