Does low end color laser printers good for photo printing? I'm planning to buy a $200 Samsung color laser printer tomorrow. I don't know if it is worth it to buy it. I heard laser printers are not so good in photo printing that's why I'm asking here. So what should I buy? An inkjet or laser?

What paper is the best/safest for laser printers (not color)? I purchased the Brother 2040 B/W laser printer. I have some black and white photographs and wanted to print them out with the laser printer. However, I've heard that I can't use gloss paper because the heat will melt the coating and ruin the printer. Is there high quality photo paper for laser printers? Anyone know if Dell color laser printer 1320c toner cartridges are compatible with any other printers / brands? Tried googling. These toner cartridges seem to only match this printer. I find it hard to believe they would match only one printer to one type of cartridge.

I've recently been employed by a company that for part of the job - requires me to reproduce art work which consists mainly of sketch's with the occasional color additive. I know a decent amount when it comes to printers; I know a high resolution laser printer capable of micro printing and color replication is what I'm looking for. My budget for this printer is around $500. I've looked around at Circuit City, Best Buy, and CompUSA and don't see any laser printers that offer more than a 600x600 dpi print. Why is there a SLIGHT RED LINE across bottom of page on my Color Laser Printer (dell 3000cn)? I have a dell 3000cn color laser printer and noticed that when i print color pictures that span the size of the entire page then at the bottom (regardless if its printed landscape or portrait) a slight redish line appears at this lower region of the page (in the printing area)...It doesn't look like its printing more red in this area but looks like some kind of burn-in or something that appears slight red. Not sure what it is....Any ideas what it is and what i can do to resolve this..... Can you give me instructions for the dell 3000cn on each of your steps?

Say if I have a USB flash drive, I should be able to see filenames in an LCD screen and be able to print files (documents mostly). I know that there are some photo printers with pictbridge (?) etc. But I am looking for a small office where the above can be achieved. Thanks. The USB drive might not have the capability to send files to the printer, but I want to see a printer having the capability to read the files in the USB drive. Since files are of different format, a simpler solution will be to atleast be able to read postscript files (*.ps) and print it.
