Does low end color laser printers good for photo printing? I'm planning to buy a $200 Samsung color laser printer tomorrow. I don't know if it is worth it to buy it. I heard laser printers are not so good in photo printing that's why I'm asking here. So what should I buy? An inkjet or laser?

I have some black and white photographs and wanted to print them out with the laser printer. Everyone tells me that with a laser printer, I save a LOT of money on ink catridges, either because the ink catridges are cheapt, or because the ink catridges last 10000 times longer than the ink catridges on inkjet printers. Why is there a SLIGHT RED LINE across bottom of page on my Color Laser Printer (dell 3000cn)? I have a dell 3000cn color laser printer and noticed that when i print color pictures that span the size of the entire page then at the bottom (regardless if its printed landscape or portrait) a slight redish line appears at this lower region of the page (in the printing area)...It doesn't look like its printing more red in this area but looks like some kind of burn-in or something that appears slight red. Say if I have a USB flash drive, I should be able to see filenames in an LCD screen and be able to print files (documents mostly). The USB drive might not have the capability to send files to the printer, but I want to see a printer having the capability to read the files in the USB drive. Since files are of different format, a simpler solution will be to atleast be able to read postscript files (*.ps) and print it.
