Ink cartridges? Has anyone used "remanufactured" ink cartridges and if so what is the quality like? Also i see advertised tri-colour ink and tri-colour "photo" ink. Has anyone used these and what are the advantages/disadvantages of either? Thanks
How can I reset the ink level of the ink cartridges of my HP Deskjet F4280 printer? I had the ink in the ink cartridges refilled by a professional at an Island Ink Jet center, yet the printer says that they are still almost empty. I tried rebooting the computer, unplugging and replugging my printer, taking the ink cartridges in and out again, but the printer still thinks they are almost empty. Does it even matter? Will my printer keep printing if it thinks the ink cartridges are completely empty?
How do I know which edible ink cartridges to get for my printer? I'm a cake deco hobbyist and I want to start printing photo cakes for friends and family. The edible photo systems online look pretty expensive, but I hear that you can buy a cheap Canon printer and then just buy the edible inks and paper. But how will I know which edible ink cartridges match which Canon printer??? Please offer specific, simple instructions. I'll TRULY appreciate it!
Is there a difference between genuine printer ink cartridge and the replacement cartridges? I have epson and I have been buying their non-epson replacement cartridges for a lot cheaper! I don't buy the original epson ink cartridges anymore because they cost so much. I've been using the replacement cartridges for awhile now and I don't think I have had any problems except my printing quality has declined but I'm not sure is it because of the replacement ink or just because my printer is old. First of all...is there any difference between real genuine printing ink and the no brand replacement cartridges? Do they damange your printer or are they exactly the same? Second of all...do printing quality delcine after you have had the printer for many years? Thanks!
What are the best places online to get replacement ink cartridges? I have an Epson Stylus C40UX Printer. Recently, I purchased brand new ink cartridges on ebay for a great price. However, when I installed it, the ink level indicator read that the cartridge was only half full. I believe that the cartridges were generic (not Epson brand) and that this might be the reason why I got them so cheap. What do you think? Can you recommend any online sites where a can get good quality refill cartridges at a really good price (where with S&H, it's cheaper than buying it in the store? Thank you. P.S. By the way, the brand name of the cartridges that I purchased on ebay is G&G.
How can I get that picture of the ink cartridges to display automatically each time I print? I have a new Compaq pc, that came with Vista Basic already installed, and an HP deskjet D1420 printer . On my older Gateway pc a picture of the 2 cartridges would appear as the page was printing, letting me see how much ink was left in the color & black cartridges. How can I get this picture of the cartridges to display on my new pc, so I can see the level of ink remaining?
How can I extend the shelf life of my ink cartridges? My refilled ink cartridges dry out and clog up if i don't use them right away. I like to keep some extra cartridges ready for when i need them. Im guessing its oxygen clogging them, but is there any convenient way to make them last longer in my drawer?
What is the best way to save money on printer ink cartridges? Printer ink cartridges are such a rip-off! $25-$30 each or more for the name brands.. Do the ink refiller places do a good job? How about the recycled ones or the cheap ones you can get on Amazon and other places on the Net? Do they work, or are they poor quality? Are they worth it?
How much would you pay for this printer and 7 new ink cartridges? I have an Epson Stylus CX3200 All-In-One Inkjet. It's a great printer except it MIGHT be broken. I'm not sure. That's why I'm selling it. I think the feed roller is broken, and this isn't a big deal (right)? Anyway, I'm selling that with 2 previously installed ink cartridges, and 7 NEW ink cartridges. So my question is...how much is the printer worth and how much is each cartridge worth? Thank you. By the way...it's 3 color cartridges and 4 black ones.
How do you refill ink cartridges that are marked SINGLE USE ONLY? I have a Lexmark printer and the ink cartridges that they gave me are designed for single use only. I tried refilling it but it still won't print because this message kept coming up saying "you need to replace your cartridge". Is this because they put some chip in the cartridges or it it a problem with my computer/printer? If it's a chip, is there any way to "trick" it? I want to save some money here...
How do i reset ink cartridges myself? I have an Epson stylus c-82 printer, and i've refilled the ink cartridges. How do i reset the cartridges myself without buying the so called box to reset it? By the book, it says i need the 'chip' resetter to reset the ink cartridges. I was wondering how to reset the chip on the ink cartridges myself?
What printers for home-use are the most efficient at using ink cartridges? Our family's been through three Lexmark printers, and they've all turned out abominable...the black ink runs out within three weeks, at best! In your experience, or from what you've heard, what kind of printers for personal use (we can't have the bulky business printers) would you recommend based on how long the ink cartridges last without refill or getting a new one?
What ink cartridges work with my printer? I have a COMPAQ U600 and I have been to about 5 stores today, where I usually get my ink cartridges but for some reason everyone was out of the one i needed. I have a lexmark 50 black ink cartridge in right now, are there any other cartridges (black ink only) that I can get to use for my printer?
Is there any ink refills for HP 60 black ink cartridges? I have been buying HP 60 black ink refill cartridges and was wondering with all the refills going on with other cartridges is there a product out there which refills these empty black ink cartridges? Thanks Doug W. Thanks for your help too, TyTy.
How do you reset refillable ink cartridges for an HP C6280? I have refilled the cartridges, but now it says my black ink is out and it won't print with the black anymore. It has been printing fine since I filled it (about a month ago) but it must finally sense that it should be out of ink. How do I reset it?
Where can i buy ink cartridges for my Dell AIO 924 Printer, cheaply? I have a Dell All-in-one 924 Printer. I am only fifteen, so the price of ink cartridges from Dell themselves isn't very cost effective, as they cost around £20 per cartridge. So, i was wondering; is there any site where i can buy them cheaply, or are there any other cartridges that work in this printer, by other companies, that will save me some money?
Is theer anyway to override printing a test page after installing new ink cartridges? I have a Lexmark X2500 printer, the scanner is broken and cannot be used. I have just installed new ink cartridges and when i go to print a page it asks me to print a test page. I can print the page, but it then asks me to scan the page to test for alignment. Obviously i cannot do that, so is there anyway to override printing a test page?
How do you refill ink cartridges? I found out that I am running out of ink in three of my ink cartridges and the cost of them normally run about $10-$12 a pop. How much do re-inking kits cost at places like Staples and Office Depot and how do I re-ink my Canon i900D cartridges?
How can I lower my cost for Ink Cartridges? This is the type I am using, Epson Stylus CX4800 Ink Cartridges. I'd be even willing to refill with an ink kit if anyone knows of such a kit that would work with my printer's ink cartridges. I'm doing a lot of printing lately and need to find a way to lower my cost. Also if anyone knows of a trusted site to buy ink for my printer at a good price let me know. Thanks.
Is there any way to unfreeze my ink cartridges? I use HP (normal, not lazer) colour cartridges for my printer, which are re-fillable. Problem is that after I picked them up from the store where I fill them, one of them's ink froze in the place where it sprays the ink. Is there any way to unfreeze it without destroying the cartridge or buying a new one?
Why would donating ink cartridges be lucrative? I see lots of places that have "recycling" programs, which are obviously shams, since the places don't have an ecological "bone" in their body. What would they want with the ink cartridges?
Can I get my Epson printer to work with nonepson ink cartridges? Very cleverly I bought some ink cartridges online for my Epson70+ printer, sadly the printer is recognizing none Epson product and is refusing to print. Can you tell me how to solve this? Isn’t it illegal for Epson to monopolize the market so? Is there a class action?
why do HP Ink Cartridges Expire and is there anyway around it? We have a nice HP all-in-one family of scan, print, etc. with something like 5 color cartridges. For home use, we don't print that much so it takes a while to run out of ink. Now we can't use the printer because the cartridges are expiring - not out of ink. That is really annoying!
How come ink cartridges for injet printers cost so much money? For a colour ink jet cartridge you have to pay like £40 but why should they cost that much when all they are are a bit of plastic filled with some powered ink. I cannot believe they cost more than a few pound to make. OK I understand that these printer companies want to make lots of money on the cartridges to make up for selling the actual printers for less but surely there are lots of companies that make these cartridges and therefore competition should force the price down, but for some reason the price remains incredibly high. Why is this?
Is it possible that manufacturers can make ink cartridges last longer? There are a lot of computer geeks and geniuses that live for the computer. These people are so smart, with all of this modern technology and yet nobody has yet figured out a way (compute a way I should say) to make or convince the companies to make their cartridges bigger and last longer. When you buy ink, you are actually buying a fancy cartrdge with high-tech electronics, and oh.... ...yeah, it comes with some ink too. Convincing the public to boycott is not a realistic answer. This is the computer age, so there must be another logical way. Refilling works to a degree (a few refills or so), but a bigger cartridge will eliminate that. --- I must conclude that 20 - 40 ml of ink is a bargain to the general public. Especially at $50.00 when buying a color and B/W cartridge.
What ink cartridges work with an HP C3180? I know that the 93 tri-color cartridge works, but are there any others that will work? I think my friend bought me a 95, but I didn't even install it thinking it wouldn't work. But are there other ink cartridges that would work? Thanks.
where can i find hp host introductory ink cartridges? They are different than the regular ink cartridges (called trade cartridges) sold in stores. They normally come with a new printer but I did not receive them. HP has not been much help. I am waiting for their response to my 5th e-mail.
How long after their INSTALL BY Dates can one reasonably expect to be able to use HP ink cartridges? We have a number of HP 14 c5011dn and c5010dn ink cartridges for use with our HP OfficeJet d145. These cartridges have "Install-By dates" of June 2005 and May 2005. For how long can we reasonably expect these cartridges to be useable given that they are now out-of-warranty and a year past the Install-By date? Respectfully, the answer be smedrik is NOT correct...these cartrdiges do not stop working after the expiration date; indeed they have a warranty date that extends BEYOND the install by date. Just to answer littlebit, you have OBVIOUSLY never called HP (lol)...its usually a disaster....we actually did call them and about 10 seconds in it was obvious the person was clueless.
where is the best place to buy ink cartridges at a discount price? I use a lot of ink, for home and my business, I have a HP printer that also scans and copies. Becasue I use it in my real estate business I go throught a lot of the ink, there is two cartridges one is tri color 28 and the other is black 56. Do unused ink cartridges dry up over the years? I have some Ink cartridges that are about 8 years old and I was wondering if there are still good for use. They've never been open and their inside their original boxes and packs. Thank you! They use to belong to my dad's school but they've been sitting around my house for so long. I am selling them on ebay. We have no use for them.
