HP vs Canon: which brand produces better color laser printers? I'm sick and tired of my inkjet printer so I'm thinking of buying a new laser printer(color, of course). From my understanding, a laser printer costs a lot to maintain. In terms of quality, design and cost-performance, which brand makes better color-laser printers? HP or Canon?
Is there a way to force a HP color printer to print monochrome? I'm using a HP color laserjet and want a color page to be printed in monochrome only. Is there a way to force it to print as though it is a monochrome printer?
I am using HP color laser printers 2600n and 1515n on network but print is slow some time after 5 or 10 min? My printers are on network mean not connected to any PC. How to reset paper size in hp Printer color laserjet 4700 series? After paper jam, printer shows 'unsize paper is detected in tray 2.... " but the size in the said tray is correct and using menu reset the size too. But the msg is still continue. I have a HP Color laserjet 1600 printer just six months old which doe not print Red, HP is not solving issue? TheHP Color laserjet 1600 printer is six months old and is in warrenty. it is now not printing Red, The engineer checked and asked me to replace the the original majenta catridge supplied by HP as part of the printer at my cost. The catridge is 60% full and is original which costs around Rs. 4000. Now they says that the printer warrenty does not include consumables and i have to replace it my own. it will cost 30% of the printer price. Have an HP color printer but it keeps leaking yellow ink onto paper? it's an older HP printer, not super old, but probably 2-3 years. I want to print this black and white header, but every time I do, there is like this yellow fade. I have tried putting it on high quality grayscale, which didn't help anything. HP Color Laser Printer fuse replacement? How to fix or what to get to fix? I was given a HP 2820 (all-in-one) but they said I’ll need a new fuse. It pretty much controls the printing process. HP printer detects refilled color ink cartridge (msg. on screen) & print quality is bad. Have they screwed us? I bought a store-brand (refilled) color ink cartridge for my HP Officejet (7310xi All-in-One). When I installed it the screen gave a message saying "HP Ink Depleted from Cartridge" (specifically HP ink!). Obviously HP has put a smart chip in their cartridges to detect when "their" ink is depleted, meaning that it knows the cartridge has been refilled. When I tried to print anything in color with that cartridge, the colors were screwed (mostly green). The message and poor print quality were both true on two different printers. So, this may just be a bad cartridge, and I will find out when I exchange it. But... I'm wondering... does anyone know if HP has intentionally programmed their printers to NOT work with refilled cartridges, thus screwing us all and forcing us to by their own ridiculously overpriced cartridges?
HP Color Printer Ignores Big Print Jobs. Help!? We have an HP LaserJet 5550 Color Printer and for some reason it's ignoring print requests on files with large filesizes. We're trying to print business cards from a document that is around 5MB and the printer just ignores the request. We had our technical support look at it and he said the printer won't print large filesizes. What kind of commercial printer doesn't print large filesizes?? Is there something wrong with the printer? I bought some school zone books from my son.. he's only 4 years old, and I've been copying the pages instead of letting him do the work in the book.... but then I started thinking? Are color laserjet printers ink efficient? I cant stand our little ink jet printer. You print one page, and 10 percent of the ink is gone. I have a black and white HP laserjet printer, and it is VERY efficient. You can print over 1000 pages before you need to change the toner. So, if I bought a color laserjet, how many pages do you think I could print before the toner went out.

hp printer color??????????? why does my hp photosmart c6180 print in wierd colors , it was out of ink so i installed a new magenta and a new yellow (what it needed) i can't remember if i printed something and it was ok or not but now it won't stop printing funny , for purple it doesn't do that it prints light blue and for like black it prints it then kinda has a horrible green look to it , but thats only in pics , the black is fine in writing and stuff, maybe it is the yellow....do you think it could be old or something????

What is the difference between HP Photo ink (#99) and HP Color Ink (#95) Cartridges? I have a Hewlett Packard PhotoSmart D5069 printer. I need to print my digital artwork out for use in my portfolio. Unfortunately I can't afford to have my work professionally printed and need to do it all on my home printer. So now I'm trying to figure out which color cartridge would give me the best results possible, the HP #95 color cartridge or the HP #99 Photo cartridge? I can only afford to buy one black cartridge and then either the photo (99) or the color(95.) So does anyone personally have experience with both of these cartridges and which of the 2 produce the best image quality? If it helps I'm printing artwork that was made entirely in programs like Photoshop and Illustrator. A lot of the work contains a wide range of colors and subtle gradients. I'll also be using Glossy HP Advanced Photo Paper to print each one. Thanks in advance!
