Hp Printers? i have an hp all in one printer c4180, i have inserted the cd and followed the instructions but for some reason it allways stops and freezes my computer on the 5/8 step of the installation. can anyone help please. i have xp.

How can we stop HP printers from printing funny characters when the pager get stuck and waste tens of sheets? When HP printers encounter a problem and when I stop and restart a printer it prints several sheets of funny characters on top of the sheet. It continues for about 20 to 30 sheets. How can we stop this.

My HP Officejet Pro L7580 has somehow taken over the other printers plugged into my computer. What do I do? I have an HP Laser printer that I like plugged into my desktop and ever since I installed the L7580, it actually turns my laser printer off or causes it to say it's missing paper. I installed the L7580 driver on my laptop for work and it does the same thing. It won't let me print to any printer unless I remove the driver. Any idea how I might fix this so I can use other printers?

How do I network 2 home computers & 2 identical hp psc printers, each printer to print from its own computer? I am adding my daughter's computer and printer to her bedroom. I installed a router and cable connecting from my cable modem to both of our computers and have operational e-mail and internet access. My computer prints, as usual, from my computer on my hp psc 1200 series printer. My daughter has a Dell computer and also a hp psc 1200 series printer. Her printer works fine for copies and when I first installed it, also printed from her computer. Now I can't make either printer work from her computer. I've checked the USB connection from the printer to her computer and it seems to be OK. In the Control Panel/Printer & Fax list, my comuter shows my hp psc 1200 series printer and also an Auto hp psc 1200 series on CINDY-A4CO4MMAO, which I think is the number of her computer. That option doesn't appear on her list of printers. I think I need guidance. I am a 79 year old lady who is reasonably good with my computer but not knowldgable about hardware or networks. How can I change my printers(HP DeskJet 1220C) resolution? I tried to install the HP 1220C printer to my PC. However the resolution of the printer is 300 dpi while it should be 1200dpi. That is why I can't print banners using that printer. I tried to remove the software and delete the Hewlete Packard software from the registry. Then after by restaring the computer, I tried reinstalling the software again. However the resolution of the printer is still 300dpi. So how can I change the resolution of the printer to 1200dpi? So that I can print banners. As I said, due to the resolution, eventhough the printer tries to print banners (it shows in the printer status "printing" then after it shows "Deleting" soon stops printing) Or what mistakes am I having during installation that makes the printer to be installed with a resolution of 300dpi? My HP printers stop connecting to the my computer.. Help? I have a HP Laserjet CM1015 and HP Photosmart printers. They turn on and do their independent functions with out being connected to a computer fine. But when I plug them to my desktop or laptop they don't connect. HP Printers - Error after Power Loss, how do I restart the print queue? I have a wireless, and bluetooth HP 3310 All in one printer. When the print software is loaded, it takes 15 minutes, then it tries to do it again from the internet. When I install a new cartridge it prints out the calibration sheet no matter what I do -- even when I indicate I have one. It is offensive that the company that produces and sells the ink forces you to use it this way -- and in color, yet! Can I make this go away -- forever? Is this the same with other companies? HP Printers trouble after install Indesign CS2? On Mac OSX 10.3.9 (G4) since installing Creative Suite 2, both HP Photosmart 7760 and HP Deskjet 5550 will only print one page at a time in Indesign. All other CS2 programs print fine. Most frustrating! I've already run FontDoctor to check for corrupt fonts. I've downloaded and installed the latest printer drivers, but still no joy.
