what's the difference between software and drivers for hp printers? I lost the cd for my hp photosmart c7250 and so im looking for the driver online. there are two different types of downloads, drivers and software. I am having issues transferring pics wirelessly using an HP C309a printers memory card reader to an iMac? I am using a Compact Flash memory card from my camera and plugging it into the memory card slot on the HP C309a printer. It says it cannot connect to the printer. I am able to print from the computer to the printer but not able to download pictures from the memory card reader back to the computer. Any idea why? HP Printers trouble after install Indesign CS2? On Mac OSX 10.3.9 (G4) since installing Creative Suite 2, both HP Photosmart 7760 and HP Deskjet 5550 will only print one page at a time in Indesign. All other CS2 programs print fine. Most frustrating! I've already run FontDoctor to check for corrupt fonts. I've downloaded and installed the latest printer drivers, but still no joy. I've been researching for days, but no advice I've found so far has helped. Sure hope someone else has encountered this problem and successly resolved it.
Can you install laptop to HP printer wirelessly without using software? I recently purchased a HP Pavilion Laptop with Windows 7. How do you clean the printer heads on an HP printer? I have an HP Photosmart 7450. In the booklet, it says to follow the directions on the software that came with the printer. I never had any software with the printer. I went to HP's website and downloaded what they call software and drivers, but there is no software that tells me how to clean the printer. HP printer driver download crashed? mutiple times please read!? Hi I have A HP deskjet D2345 I misplaced the driver disk and the download crashed mutiple times on my MStar broadband connection. I tried to download the file but it always crashes I need the drivers for this printer. I tried to use the hewlitt packard driver site to download both the software and the device driver but the 164.7 megabyte download never completes. I also tried the windows update site but gave up after waiting for it when it hit the 45 minute mark trying to find the device driver I need. HP Printers - all junk? Is there a better brand? Have used nothing but HP printers since before 1989. But in the past year 2 new HP printers have been troublesome in use at home. Had a HP OfficeJet 4215 that lasted about 13 months and then blew the print head. Bought a HP 1510xi All-In-One. Paper jams whenever you try to print an envelope. Downloaded software updates last week. Went to print today and the envelope jammed. Now the ON/OFF button flashes - but there is no printing. The error message states: Trouble Printing The TROUBLESHOOTER doesn't handle this - it tells you to print a page. But if it could print a page, there would be no problem. What printer would you recommend? Followed manual's instructions and opened printer - no pieces of paper are inside. I am using right size, and paper weight, for envelopes.
